I thought I'd been having a rough few weeks. We're on our 84th day over 100 degrees this year and I'm going stir-crazy with the kids. I've been putting in too many hours between the blog and MOMS Club and general SAHM duties and have been particularly grumpy. I've even been considering going back to work to get a "break" from the kids (which, ironically happened at this exact same last year). When I feel this way, I spend too much time online, which the kids hate, so they act up to get attention, which drives me crazy because I can't get anything done, and the cycle continues.
Forgive me for a moment for veering off-topic, but I recently made a little switch in my life that made a huge difference and would love to share it with you!
Do you like to exercise? Until recently, I did not. I have cycled between exercising regularly and rarely getting off the couch throughout my life, but I never REALLY enjoyed exercising. I would go to the gym and wander around aimlessly before choosing the activity that looked like I could get through the most quickly and with the least effort. I hated running, hated lifting weights, couldn't get through a Zumba class without knocking everyone else down like a line of dominoes. I always felt out of place: weak, uncoordinated, inflexible. Can anyone relate?
